Job summary

Veolia is seeking experienced CDL A drivers to support our Waste & Environmental Services on routes across the region. You will travel to assigned locations, safely pack, transport and dispose of waste following our environmentally responsible policies. A DOT physical, drug tests and background check are required.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. The role pays $33.00 per hour with equal opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) preferred.

• Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.

$33.00 hourly

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Able to operate a Manual Transmission Vehicle
• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred Requirements:

• TWIC Card, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsement (candidates will be expected to obtain as a condition of employment after hire) and any experience operating vac trucks, combo vehicles, and roll-offs.
• As you will interact with customers and internal staff, fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
