Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC seeks experienced CDL A drivers to join our Waste/Wastewater transport team across assigned routes. You will pack, transport and dispose of waste material in compliance with environmental policies, traveling weekly with overnight stays and occasional weekend work.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, at least 21, a DOT physical and background check; Hazmat/Tanker endorsements are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• You must be at least 21 years old.
• DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred; if not, endorsements provided by the company.
• TWIC Card and experience driving box trucks preferred.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) important.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to locations on your assigned route and transporting waste material.
• Pack, transport and dispose of waste according to environmental policies.
• Overnights required once per week and occasional weekends (paid hotel and per diem).

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Requirements

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. If you do not have the endorsements, once you are hired, you will be required to obtain them at company expense as a condition of employment.
• TWIC Card and any experience driving box trucks is also preferred. As you will interact with customers and internal staff. Fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.

Additional Information

Pay starting at $29.00 hourly
