Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced CDL A Driver to join our North America team. You will operate on your assigned route, transport and dispose of waste materials in line with our environmental policies and procedures.

Expect 3-4 overnight trips per week with paid hotel expenses and nightly per diem. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL A with manual transmission, HazMat and Tanker endorsements, and being at least 21.

Qualifications

• CDL A license valid with manual transmission experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required or obtainable.
• Must be at least 21 years old at start of employment.
• English fluency for interaction with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Travel to locations on assigned route to pack, transport and dispose of waste material.

• Provide safe handling and documentation for waste materials during transit.

Job Description

Join our team and be part of something bigger! We’re looking for experienced CDL A Drivers who share our commitment to the environment, our customers, regulators, and our families. Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures. This position requires 3-4 overnights per week (with paid hotel expenses and nightly per diem).

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with manual transmission experience. AlsoTanker and Hazmat endorsement. By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred qualifications are a TWIC Card, and any experience operating vac trucks, combo vehicles, and roll offs. As you will interact with customers and internal staff, fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.
