Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking experienced CDL A Drivers to join our team on waste management routes in the Allentown area. You will be responsible for packing, transporting, and disposing of waste in compliance with environmental policies.

The role requires traveling to locations on your assigned route, with up to four overnight stays per week, hotel expenses covered, and nightly per diem. Required: high school diploma or GED, valid Class A CDL with Hazmat, pass DOT physical and background

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL required, Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• TWIC Card and Tanker endorsement preferred.
• English fluency (verbal and written) important.

Responsibilities

• Travel to locations on your assigned route to pack, transport and properly dispose of waste.
• Operate in compliance with DOT, safety and Veolia policies.

Job Description

Join our team and be part of something bigger! We’re looking for experienced CDL A Drivers who share our commitment to the environment, our customers, regulators, and our families. Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures. This position requires up to 4 overnights per week (with paid hotel expenses and nightly per diem).

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. By law, you must be at least 21 years of age. Hazmat required.

Preferred qualifications are a TWIC Card, Tanker endorsement. As you will interact with customers and internal staff, fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.
