Job summary

Terracon is seeking an Environmental Department leader in the Midland, TX area. The role is to grow the environmental business line, oversee a 10–15 person team, and manage projects spanning site assessment, ecology, and cultural resources for public and private clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong regulatory knowledge, prior supervisory experience, and proven ability to develop proposals and client relationships while ensuring safety and compliance on all projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field; 10+ years’ related experience, or 14 years if no degree.
• Supervisory/managerial experience required; strong writing skills.
• Ability to develop and implement field testing plans and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow Terracon's environmental department for the local office.
• Oversee 10–15 staff; manage a revenue stream over $4.0 million.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate site testing; develop analytical testing plans; advise on design.
