Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced Environmental Regulatory Compliance Scientist or Engineer to join our Team in the DFW Metro. This role focuses on leading growth of regulatory services, engaging clients, and delivering compliant project results.

The ideal candidate has deep Texas regulatory knowledge, strong project leadership, and a track record of expanding client relationships across the manufacturing and industrial sectors. Expect mentorship and collaboration with local staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years in regulatory compliance consulting.
• Strong client relationship development and technical writing abilities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; proficient with MS Office.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within TX.

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand environmental compliance services in TX and beyond.
• Lead client-facing projects, develop strategies, and prepare proposals.
• Provide technical leadership through project execution and deliverables.
• Mentor staff and support safety and quality initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of Texas/EPA regulations and applicable permits.
