Arcadis seeks a Project Environmental Scientist/Geoscientist to support the Resilience Environment team in the U.S. This role specializes in soil and groundwater contaminant characterization and remediation, applying statistical tools to develop defensible site investigation and monitoring strategies.

The successful candidate will lead statistical analyses, interpret results within environmental and regulatory contexts, and contribute to technical memoranda, regulatory submittals, and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong statistics emphasis; related fields acceptable
• 5+ years of applicable experience in environmental statistics or related field
• Comparative statistics work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Review conceptual site models, regulatory requirements, and environmental datasets to develop statistically defensible strategies
• Plan and execute statistical analyses for soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water investigations
• Interpret analytical and statistical results in the context of site conditions and regulatory guidance
• Prepare technical memoranda, monitoring reports, and regulatory submittals communicating methods and findings
• Present statistical approaches and recommendations to project teams and clients
• Provide technical responses to client and regulator comments and resolve data-related questions
• Serve as a focused practitioner in environmental statistics guiding multidisciplinary teams
• Travel up to 20% as needed
