Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Data Management Discipline Leader to shape the firm’s data governance, validation, and analytics programs across ESG projects. This national role emphasizes defensible data workflows, scalable platforms, and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

The position focuses on EQuIS platform leadership, data quality, and strategic integration with dashboards and reporting tools to improve project delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7 years of related experience.
• Travel up to 20-40% as needed.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide national leadership for environmental data management across ESG programs.
• Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, SOPs, templates, and guidance documents.
• Lead data validation and QA/QC workflows across programs including EQuIS modules.
• Coordinate with analytics, GIS, and IT teams to connect validated data to dashboards and reporting.
• Support project startup to ensure data management requirements are built into scopes and plans.
