Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Environmental Data Management Discipline Leader to advance environmental data management capabilities across ESG programs.

You will establish consistent, defensible, scalable workflows that support project delivery, regulatory compliance, data validation, and analytics, elevating environmental data management from project‑by‑project support to a governance‑driven discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree. 7 years of related experience. Travel may be required.
• Experience with environmental data management platforms (EQuIS) and data workflows.
• Strong understanding of regulatory data requirements and QA/QC practices.
• Experience mentoring staff and coordinating cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide national leadership for environmental data management across ESG programs.
• Develop data governance frameworks, SOPs, templates, and guidance documents.
• Lead EQuIS platform strategy, data loading, validation, and analytics integration.
• Oversee validation workflows, QA/QC, and data quality objectives across projects.
• Coordinate with GIS, analytics, and field data teams to deliver dashboards and reports.
