Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Data Management Discipline Leader to guide national data governance, analytics, and validation across ESG programs. This leadership role focuses on scalable workflows, defensible data, and integration with reporting tools such as Power BI.

You will advance EQuIS platforms, oversee QA/QC, and mentor staff while coordinating with GIS, IT, and business units to deliver data-driven environmental solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7 years of related experience; travel may be required.
• Experience with environmental data management platforms, especially EQuIS.
• Ability to lead data governance, QA/QC workflows, and validation strategies.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide national leadership for environmental data management across ESG programs.
• Develop data governance frameworks, SOPs, and guidance documents.
• Lead EQuIS platform strategy, data loading, validation, and reporting.
• Oversee QA/QC workflows and data validation strategies.
• Support project startup with data management requirements and budgets.
• Coordinate with analytics, GIS, and IT teams to connect data to dashboards.
