Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Environmental Data Management Discipline Leader to establish scalable, defensible workflows across ESG programs. Lead EQuIS strategy, data validation, and analytics integration to support project delivery and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor staff, coordinate across business units, and advance field data acquisition with dashboards and Power BI integration. Travel and leadership duties are expected in a national role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, data management, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in environmental data management or related consulting roles.
• Strong experience with EQuIS or comparable platforms and data validation workflows.
• Ability to mentor staff and build cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide national leadership for environmental data management across ESG programs.
• Develop data governance frameworks, SOPs, and guidance documents.
• Lead EQuIS platform strategy, data loading, validation, and analytics integration.
• Drive defensible QA/QC workflows and project startup support across multiple projects.
