Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a data-driven environmental analyst to support EPA-driven water quality projects. The role focuses on data cleaning, analysis, and visualization using R and Python, ArcGIS Pro, ArcPy, and Power BI to develop dashboards and tools for clients.

The successful candidate will work with large environmental datasets, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to technical documentation and literature reviews related to the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, water resources management, geography, ecology, or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience; Master’s may substitute for 2 years.
• Experience with large environmental datasets and geospatial data layers.
• Advanced skills in R and Python for data cleaning and analysis.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcPy; familiarity with ArcGIS Online/Power BI/Shiny.

Responsibilities

• Clean, analyze, and store data using R.
• Analyze raster and vector geospatial data with ArcGIS and Python.
• Evaluate national, state, and local data sets for water sector projects.
• Develop and maintain dashboards/tools including ArcGIS Online or Power BI.
• Prepare data analysis documentation with methodologies and results.
• Review literature on Clean Water Act topics and summarize findings.
• Provide quality control for client deliverables.
