Job summary

The Cadmus Group seeks a data-driven environmental professional to support water protection projects for federal and state agencies. You will perform data analysis and research, ensuring high-quality deliverables on surface water quality, watershed planning, and drinking water programs.

Advancing taxonomies, dashboards, and educational materials will be part of your duties as you collaborate with clients and internal teams. Remote-friendly with opportunities across Cadmus offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental fields or related discipline is required.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience with Clean Water Act programs or similar regulatory work.
• Experience analyzing large environmental datasets and geospatial layers.
• Advanced skills in R and Python for data cleaning and analysis.
• ArcGIS Pro with ArcPy, and familiarity with ArcGIS Online/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Clean, analyze, and store data using R.
• Analyze raster and vector geospatial data with ArcGIS and Python.
• Review national, state, and local datasets for water sector projects.
• Develop tools and dashboards using ArcGIS Online or Power BI.
• Document methodologies and results.
• Conduct literature reviews on the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act.
• Provide quality control for client deliverables.
