4P Consulting is seeking an Environmental Analyst II with a strong background in cultural resource management (CRM) and archaeology to support environmental compliance and survey activities in relation to Georgia Power projects in Atlanta, GA.

The role involves planning, directing, and reporting on archaeological and CRM investigations, with a focus on coordinating across multidisciplinary teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree required in archaeology, anthropology, CRM or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cultural resource management.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience; 5+ years with supervisory exposure preferred.
  • Experience with archaeological/cultural resource surveys, GIS applications, and report review/background research.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and conduct archaeological and cultural resource surveys for infrastructure projects.
  • Review and prepare technical reports and compliance documentation.
  • Perform background research and screening related to cultural resources.
  • Ensure survey and reporting activities meet regulatory and project requirements.
  • Provide supervisory oversight of field investigations and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Interface with project engineers, environmental teams, legal counsel, and third-party representatives.
