Environmental Analyst I – Cultural Resources / Archaeology

Location: Atlanta, GA

Position Overview

We are seeking an Environmental Analyst I with a background in archaeology, anthropology, or cultural resource management (CRM) to support cultural resource compliance and survey activities.

This role focuses on planning, directing, conducting, reviewing, and reporting on archaeological and cultural resource surveys in support of infrastructure and utility projects. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and the ability to manage multiple projects in coordination with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Cultural Resource Management (CRM)
  • Plan and conduct archaeological and cultural resource surveys.
  • Review and prepare technical reports for compliance documentation.
  • Conduct screening and background research related to cultural resources.
  • Support regulatory compliance for cultural and archaeological requirements.
Project Coordination & Oversight
  • Direct and supervise field or survey activities as needed.
  • Balance and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including:
