URU is a Community Resource Center dedicated to providing resources, offering programs, and organizing community service events for the South LA area. Our initiatives aim to boost civic engagement, raise awareness of community service, and proudly represent underrepresented neighborhoods.

About this job

As an Environmental Service Crew Member, you will play a vital role in supporting our community and the environment through various initiatives, including community clean-ups, highway clean-ups, street clean-ups, landscaping, gardening, public engagement activities, and Act-of-Good projects.

You will be responsible for contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment while fostering a sense of community engagement and responsibility. Safety gear and uniform shirts will be provided to ensure your professionalism.

Qualifications

*Perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing or walking.
