Job summary

Empire Landscape, LLC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for our environmental construction division. The role supports planning, scheduling, and overseeing multiple projects across the DC/MD/VA region, assisting with work orders, tracking, and documentation.

It requires coordinating with prime contractors, project owners, and stakeholders while maintaining strict safety, quality, and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Degree or 1–3 years of field experience required.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to work weekends seasonally (Spring/Fall).
• Spanish speaking is a plus and beneficial for stakeholder coordination.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, scheduling and overseeing multiple environmental projects.
• Produce work orders, maintain tracking sheets and ensure accurate documentation of work completed.
• Review project specifications and plan sets to ensure proper execution of tasks.
• Coordinate meetings with prime contractors and project owners; maintain records of communications.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen and field crews to facilitate daily logistics and safety compliance.
