Job summary

TRAX International Corporation is seeking a Conditioning Chambers Technician I at Yuma Proving Ground, AZ. The role supports conditioning chambers for developmental testing, transport of ammunition, and delivery to gun positions on rotating shifts.

The incumbent will assist with chamber operations, maintain ammo accountability, cross-train in other Ammunition Group areas, and uphold customer service standards within a unionized environment.

Qualifications

• Arms, Ammunition, & Explosives clearance obtained or achievable.
• Ability to manually load ammunition into conditioning chambers.
• Must speak, write, read, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist operating environmental conditioning chambers to simulate required temperatures.
• Support transporting ammunition to conditioning chambers near firing ranges.
• Manually load ammunition into chambers and deliver rounds to gun positions as needed.
• Move conditioning chambers between locations within YPG ranges and assist with CO2 transfers from mobile tanks.
