Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a senior environmental safety professional to lead the development, planning and implementation of safety programs across the organization. You will coordinate sustainability efforts and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The role includes auditing and reporting on safety performances for leadership and regulatory agencies, and training staff on environmental safety responsibilities. Travel to facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental health, or related field.
• Minimum three years of related safety experience.
• Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct development and implementation of environmental safety programs across the organization.
• Assist with sustainability strategies and action plans to ensure organizational viability.
• Coordinate pollution control, waste management, recycling, and environmental health initiatives.
