Atrium Health is seeking a senior environmental safety professional to lead the development, planning and implementation of safety programs across the organization. You will coordinate sustainability efforts and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
The role includes auditing and reporting on safety performances for leadership and regulatory agencies, and training staff on environmental safety responsibilities. Travel to facilities is required.

Bachelor’s degree required, Safety Management, Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance or related degree.
Minimum three (3) years experience in related safety field. Demonstrate d knowledge of regulatory agencies (EPA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) code requirements and/or compliance, and the progressive application of those standards as applicable.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills with demonstration of skill and competence in use of all Microsoft Office applications required.
