Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Biological Science required.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in managing environmental and sustainability programs.
• Must possess strong reading, math, writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Must have knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Must be able to travel to remote facilities and/or offices for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe work environment by eliminating unsafe acts and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with wastewater operation, air quality, and hazardous waste programs.
• May supervise and manage general associates including hiring, training, and development.
• Provide timely, accurate reports to internal and external customers.
• Lead public education and community relations efforts pertaining to environmental programs.
• Order parts, supplies, chemicals, and monitor activities related to environmental programs.
