Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Wastewater Operator Certification (GA) or ability to obtain required certification.
• Prior supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of environmental systems, equipment, and operating procedures.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures environmental permit compliance and manages wastewater, scrubber, and boiler operations.
• Supervises production operators in safe boiler operations, wastewater treatment, and air treatment equipment.
• Leads and trains staff, implements SOPs for plant environmental and utility systems.
• Develops CIP schedules for scrubbers and related equipment.
• Collects and analyzes environmental data to support plant performance and compliance.
• Prepares permit-related submittals for state and federal authorities.
