Domtar in Kingsport, TN is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead the site’s environmental programs and regulatory compliance. The role requires coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, and Plant Leadership to ensure adherence to EPA, state, and corporate standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a BS in a science/engineering field, 7+ years in environmental management, and hands-on experience with Title V permitting and water/air programs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering or environmental fields or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive environmental management experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with environmental permitting, including Title V air permits.
• Knowledge of water and air programs.
• Hands-on, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains, develops, and implements Environmental Programs to ensure compliance with local, State and Federal regulations and Domtar policies.
• Establishes priorities with operations, maintenance, and other departments as part of the Plant Leadership Team.
• Leads or participates in investigations of environmental incidents and implements corrective actions.
• Manages on-site Wastewater lab and related monitoring
• Contributes to EMS system activities and audits.
• Supports production and safety goals through environmental data and procedures.
