Job summary
Corning Inc. is seeking an Environmental Engineer for the Vineland, NJ facility to lead regulatory compliance, permit management, and sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities include leading the EMS, ensuring air, water, and waste compliance, and coordinating with operations, engineering, and regulators to advance environmental objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years in environmental health and safety engineering, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regs: air, water, hazardous waste, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and improve the site’s environmental management system (ISO 14001).
- Oversee environmental compliance activities: monitoring, inspections, reporting.
- Manage site permits and programs: Title V, NJPDES, stormwater, hazardous waste, SPCC, etc.
