Domtar Corporation in Kingsport, Tennessee seeks an Environmental Engineer to lead site-wide environmental programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and Domtar standards. This full-time role focuses on developing procedures, auditing operations, and guiding incident investigations.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in a relevant field, 5 years of experience, and proficiency with water/air permits and EMS operations.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of direct experience in environmental engineering/management.
• Experience in environmental permitting.
• Experience in regulatory agency interface.
• Knowledge of Water and Air programs.
• Versatile in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a resource to Kingsport Mill Operations to ensure environmental compliance with Domtar standards.
• Lead investigations of environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Act as SME for the EMS system and develop SOPs.
• Identify trends and coordinate cross-functional improvements across the mill.
• Maintain regulatory reports and ensure timely submissions (DMRs, Tier 2, etc.).
• Provide on-call environmental services for off-hours and weekends.
