Job summary

Stantec Government Services (GS) seeks an Environmental Project Manager to lead and participate in environmental compliance projects for government and commercial clients. The role requires managing interdisciplinary personnel and delivering high-quality project deliverables with an in-office presence to strengthen client relationships.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of environmental regulatory standards and programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and team.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass pre-employment checks.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental compliance projects, including budgets, client relations, and personnel.
• Identify business opportunities and potential clients in environmental services.
• Provide environmental compliance consulting (SPCC, SWPPP, permits) for government and commercial clients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide audit services across the U.S.
• Serve as an environmental auditor evaluating facilities for regulatory compliance.
• Develop findings, recommendations, and corrective actions for hazards across media.
• Perform QA/QC for audit findings and management plans.
• Collaborate with other business units to deliver compliance services.
• Maintain in-office presence to support engagement and operations.
