Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with environmental compliance audits/inspections and managing projects.
• Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA), CHMM, PMP or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Training highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Carry out project management for environmental compliance projects, including budgets, client relations, and managing personnel and subcontractors.
• Identify business opportunities and potential clients for environmental compliance services.
• Provide environmental compliance consulting (e.g., SPCC Plans, Stormwater, permit applications) to government and commercial clients.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to provide audit services across the U.S.
• Serve as an environmental auditor evaluating facilities for regulatory compliance.
• Develop findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to mitigate hazards across environmental media.
• Perform QA/QC for deliverables like audit findings and environmental management plans.
• Collaborate with professionals from other business units to provide services.
• Must reside within commuting distance of Charlottesville, VA or be willing to relocate and maintain in-office presence.
