DEPT OF EMERGENCY AND MILITARY AFFAIRS in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Compliance Program Manager-Central to oversee environmental compliance across AZARNG Central facilities. You will manage hazardous waste, air and water programs, and provide training to site personnel.

The role requires routine site visits, strong regulatory knowledge (EPCRA, SPCC, SWPPP), and the ability to coordinate with multiple installations while ensuring safety and compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Compliance, Environmental Management, or related field.
• Experience with hazardous waste, EPCRA, SWPPP/SPCC is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication and training development.
• Field inspections and regulatory reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements and reports on overall compliance for AZARNG/AZDEMA under NEPA, AR 200-1, and EPCRA.
• Provides technical assistance for hazardous waste, SPCC, and permit compliance.
• Develops and delivers compliance training and SOPs for multiple installations.
• Conducts site visits and inspections to ensure program effectiveness and identify deficiencies.
• Manages funding and resources to support field visits and mission readiness.
• Supports field teams in southern and northern installations as needed.
