Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon seeks an Environmental Manager to oversee regulatory programs, PCB management, and laboratory quality systems at our Temple facility. You will lead environmental compliance efforts, coordinate audits and inspections, and ensure adherence to TSCA, RCRA, SPCC, stormwater, and air permitting requirements.

You will supervise environmental staff, develop SOPs, train teams, and partner with operations and commercial groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum five years of environmental compliance experience in an industrial, utility, manufacturing, remediation, or waste management environment.
• Minimum three years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of TSCA PCB regulations, RCRA hazardous waste regulations, stormwater permitting, SPCC requirements, air permitting and emissions reporting, environmental inspections and audits.
• Experience developing SOPs, training programs, and compliance procedures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain environmental compliance programs across regulatory areas and audits.
• Oversee PCB storage, inspection, labeling, recordkeeping, and disposal activities.
• Ensure SWPPP, SPCC plans, and air permit compliance activities.
• Lead laboratory quality systems and data review.
• Supervise environmental and laboratory personnel, provide training and development.
