Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical environmental field and 3+ years of progressive environmental compliance experience.
• HAZWOPER trained, RCRA trained, DOT trained, Certified Asbestos Building Inspector preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a utility environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer environmental compliance programs (SPCC, TSCA, waste, air) and SDS management.
• Coordinate environmental audits and assessments of facilities, contractors, and suppliers.
• Develop and implement environmental training programs including HAZWOPER, DOT HazMat, Lead, and Asbestos.
• Maintain tracking for hazardous/non-hazardous waste and regulated materials.
• Provide guidance on remediation, handling, transport, and disposal requirements.
