Job summary

Atlas is seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to join our Redmond, WA team. The role focuses on delivering environmental compliance during design and construction for complex transportation projects, working with Sound Transit, WSDOT, and other agencies.

You will oversee permits, ESA compliance, stormwater, wetlands, and monitoring while coordinating with contractors and regulators to mitigate risk and maintain schedules. Strong communication and field support are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, natural resources or related field.
• 5 years of experience in construction phase environmental compliance on transportation projects (WSDOT/Sound Transit preferred).
• Strong technical and communication skills with ability to interface with contractors and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance programs for Sound Transit, WSDOT, and local agencies.
• Interpret and implement environmental permits, approvals, and commitments for complex projects.
• Coordinate with Sound Transit, WSDOT staff, inspectors, and regulators on-site.
• Support CEMPs, permit compliance matrices, and environmental commitment tracking.
