Job summary

Terra-Gen, LLC is seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Lead to supervise a team of specialists and avian field staff. The role supports pre-construction through operations, ensuring adherence to permits, plans, and reporting obligations across multiple facilities.

Regular field engagement and coordination with Development, Construction, Operations, EHS, Finance, Legal, and regulators are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, natural resources, engineering, or related field required or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years of environmental compliance experience in industrial, construction, energy, or similar field operations.
Experience supervising teams and coordinating work across multiple sites or projects.

Responsibilities

Leads environmental compliance team; sets expectations and develops staff.
Directs pre-construction, construction, and operating facility compliance support; manages permits and reporting.
Oversees field guidance to construction/operations ensuring compliance with permits and plans.
Manages environmental programs including air quality, hazardous materials, water, stormwater, wildlife, and waste.
Maintains permit inventories, compliance calendars, incident records, and corrective actions.
Supports environmental due diligence and project financing by organizing permit information and coordinating with Finance/Legal.
