The role entails supervising environmental coordinators, directing air, water and waste compliance, developing budgets, coordinating permits, and reporting to regulatory agencies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, applied science, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years progressively responsible environmental regulatory or technical experience.
• 7+ years with an Associates degree.

Aufgaben

• Provides direct supervision of staff, contractors, and support personnel, including planning, assignments, training, development and performance evaluations.
• Directs and manages all plant activities related to environmental compliance.
• Ensures adherence to safe work practices and procedures.
• Stays current on local, state, federal, and industry regulations to assure compliance and best practices.
• Leads and directs activities related to reporting on coal combustion products (CCP's).
• Audits and guides station compliance for air, water, and solid waste requirements.
• Evaluates plant processes for environmental performance and coordinates improvement initiatives.
• Prepares timely reports for regulatory submissions and maintains records as required.
