Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company, part of the PPL Corporation family, seek a technical leader to oversee Gas Operations PSMS, risk management, performance, and compliance. You will develop standards, track procedures, and coordinate audits and drills, interfacing with external industry groups as needed.

The role requires strong communication across departments from field to leadership, knowledge of 49 CFR parts 191/192, and experience with risk assessment

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze and solve engineering problems from a business perspective.
• Experience in the natural gas industry, including basic knowledge of natural gas construction and operations.
• Experience with performing incident investigations and analysis.

Responsabilités

• Identify opportunities for improvement and provide process enhancements.
• Gather, correlate, and analyze data using established procedures.
• Perform detailed and/or routine engineering assignments involving calculations, tests, and analysis.
• Support operating and maintenance functions with problem identification, engineering analysis, and resolution activities.
• Prepare and present reports with conclusions of engineering activities.
• Assist other engineers with large projects as needed.
• Assist with development of goals, objectives, budgets, programs, and procedures.
• Plan and control all activities to provide an accident-free workplace.
