ENGIE North America Inc. is hiring an Environmental Compliance Manager in Houston to lead environmental compliance programs across LEI NorthAm.

You will oversee permitting, audits, and regulatory interactions, guiding cost/time resources for new projects and ensuring site-level adherence with federal, state and local requirements. You will manage a weekly tracking matrix, perform root cause analyses for deviations, and produce monthly performance reports aligned with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Science/Studies.
• 7+ years in environmental compliance and business development in energy; 5+ years in power generation.
• Subject matter expertise in air and water regulations; waste management and spill prevention.
• Ability to lead audits, develop reports and communicate with regulators and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Oversee compliance programs, permitting and licensing for LEI NorthAm.
• Lead audits, tracking matrices and monthly performance reports.
• Coordinate with Plant Managers, regulators and internal teams on compliance.
• Manage site audits, regulatory changes and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Travel domestically up to 50% and support external environmental agencies.
