Hawaii Association of Environmental Professionals seeks a seasoned environmental compliance specialist to ensure day-to-day regulatory adherence at Energy Delivery facilities under federal, state, and county rules covering air, water, hazardous materials, and noise. You will design, oversee, and implement tactical programs while coordinating with the Environmental Department for strategic support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or engineering or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and county environmental laws, regulations and procedures.
• “Working knowledge” of environmental principles and compliance strategies.

Responsabilités

• Ensure day-to-day regulatory compliance at Energy Delivery facilities with federal, state, and county environmental rules for air, water, hazardous materials, and noise.
• Design, oversee implementation of and carry out tactical environmental compliance programs.
• Act as primary internal contact on environmental compliance matters for the Energy Delivery process area.
