Job summary

WM is seeking a seasoned Environmental Protection professional to administer EP programs across assigned areas, serving as the EP contact for field operations. The role involves 40–50% local travel with occasional overnight travel and requires strong knowledge of regulatory environments and reporting.

Responsibilities include preparing and submitting environmental reports, maintaining data systems, and guiding site teams on EP program implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or equivalent required.
• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years relevant work experience.
• 5 years of environmental protection related experience required.
• Knowledge of regulatory environment as it applies to environmental protection and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit environmental reports for internal and external audiences.
• Maintain EP data tracking systems and provide company reporting.
• Communicate and implement Corporate EP program policies within Market Areas/districts.
• Provide technical guidance on EP topics and regulatory environments to field operations.
• Coordinate with districts on action plans and regulatory agency negotiations.
• Develop, coordinate and oversee field EP testing, investigations, assessments and guidance.
