Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Supervisor (Contingency) to lead environmental compliance activities under TACOM operations. You will supervise technicians, ensure adherence to federal, state, local and Army regulations, and oversee permits and reporting across multiple programs.

The role involves organizing plans, coordinating with higher-level staff, and guiding teams to meet safety and regulatory standards in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, safety, or related field in industrial, military, or government environments.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct environmental programs including hazardous materials and hazardous waste management.
• Ensure compliance with RCRA, NEPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, EPCRA, and related regulations.
• Coordinate with senior staff on high-cost or controversial projects; develop solutions and recommendations.
• Develop project plans, set milestones, and ensure implementation of environmental policies.
• Prepare reports and maintain permits; manage budgets and resources for programs.
