Job summary

TACOM (RRAD) position supported by KBR, Inc. provides technical support for environmental, biological, and occupational health programs at a military facility.

Responsibilities include collecting and managing data, conducting inspections, and assisting with compliance reporting. The Biological Science Technician role emphasizes environmental monitoring, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with engineers, safety staff, and operations teams to ensure mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of biological, environmental, or natural resource management principles and practices.
• Experience collecting and maintaining biological or environmental data with high accuracy.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations related to air, water, hazardous materials, pollution prevention, or natural resource management.
• Ability to conduct field investigations, inspections, environmental sampling, and monitoring in industrial settings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management systems; GIS experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental, biological, and facility inspections to support compliance with environmental regulations and DoD policies.
• Collect, document, and manage environmental and biological samples and data related to industrial operations.
• Assist with environmental monitoring, site assessments, and compliance reporting for facility operations.
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate environmental monitoring and testing equipment to ensure data accuracy.
• Compile and maintain technical records, permits, and reports related to environmental compliance and waste management.
• Coordinate with engineers, safety personnel, and operations staff to identify and resolve environmental issues.
