Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to coordinate environmental compliance for California facilities, including approximately four plants.

Role involves developing and maintaining compliance tools, training personnel, and managing hazardous waste profiles and regulatory submissions. Candidate should have 5–7 years of regulatory experience, Title V expertise, and strong project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science; environmental emphasis preferred.
• 5-7 years of environmental regulatory compliance knowledge across air, water and waste.
• Experience with Title V air permitting and Bay Area rules is a plus.
• Proven ability to train facility personnel on compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve environmental programs across air/GHG/water/waste to meet regulations and permits.
• Develop and improve compliance tools, monitoring, and testing programs.
• Direct and train facility personnel on environmental compliance requirements.
• Prepare waste profiles and manage manifests with vendors.
• Submit environmental compliance reports to agencies.
• Prepare permit applications and negotiate with regulators.
