Job summary

KBR Careers in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and installation environmental requirements. Qualifications

BA degree in environmental engineering, health education or related field; in lieu, equivalent experience.
Three years of directly related work experience in environmental compliance.
Ability to inspect work areas, analyze findings and propose corrective actions.
Strong written and oral communication for technical reports.

Responsibilities

Coordinate compliance with federal, state, local, and installation requirements.
Ensure adherence to Hazardous Waste and Stormwater programs and EMS.
Develop and implement EH&S plan and train personnel.
Oversee audits and liaise with hazardous waste disposal vendors.
Ensure waste segregation, satellite accumulation areas, and container controls.
