Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in environmental health and safety engineering, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of air, water, hazardous waste, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to communicate regulatory requirements across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site environmental program, including ISO 14001 processes and integration with operations.
• Oversee environmental compliance activities: monitoring, inspections, testing, recordkeeping, corrective actions, reporting.
• Manage site environmental permits and programs (Title V, NJPDES, stormwater, hazardous waste, SPCC, etc.).
• Support hazardous waste compliance: waste determinations, inspections, manifesting, training, vendor coordination.
• Provide environmental guidance and training to employees, leaders, contractors, and vendors.
• Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and risk reduction initiatives.
• Serve as site environmental contact for regulatory inspections, audits, and follow-ups.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Regulators to advance environmental objectives.
