Job summary

INEOS Oxide seeks an Environmental Engineer to drive regulatory compliance, training, and program development for the Plaquemine and Bayport sites. The role leads teams of engineers, HSE specialists, and contractors to ensure environmental performance across operations and projects.

You will interact with regulatory agencies, mentor staff, and champion continuous improvement in air permitting, TMCS, and MSDS compliance at multiple units.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Texas air permitting and federal environmental regulations (Title V/MACT/NESHAP).
• Strong knowledge of SOCMI and chemical sector regulations and LDAR.
• Ability to mentor teams and manage cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify informational requirements to develop site environmental strategies.
• Lead environmental performance testing and liaise with agencies (TCEQ, EPA).
• Develop and negotiate permit strategies to minimize financial and operational impact.
