Job summary

August Mack Environmental, Inc. is offering a technical learning position in Compliance Services focused on regulatory understanding, field inspections, and reporting.

You will learn to prepare plans and reports related to USEPA, OSHA, and state agencies while supporting managers and consultants. This entry role emphasizes on-the-job training, clear career paths, and hands-on experience across field and office settings.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in environmental science or related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Willingness to learn about EPA/ OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Learn existing regulations and develop strategies to ensure client compliance.
• Complete assigned projects under the guidance of a Compliance Manager, Senior Technical Manager or Compliance Consultant to achieve objectives.
• Ensure project kickoff meetings are completed and maintain momentum by communicating on questions or gaps.
• Communicate with project team on status and regulatory issues of related projects.
• Prepare compliance reports, update plans, and conduct sampling activities.
• Prepare Tier II and Form R reports, and storm water and spill prevention plans.
• Some positions will receive emissions training to monitor stack testing as needed.
• Communicate with client as requested by Compliance Consultant.
• Assist Compliance Consultant in maintaining client relationships.
• Participate in all Project Team activities.
• Achieve a billable goal (bill time to projects).
