Job summary

Resolute Management Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Direct Claims Associate Account Manager to monitor, review, and coordinate environmental, asbestos, and latent type claims, including resolving coverage issues and establishing reserves.

You will analyze loss notices, manage defense counsel, coordinate settlements within authority, work with reinsurance and legal teams, and ensure timely processing of payments across policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience handling complex general liability claims, environmental and/or latent claims, or a legal degree with insurance coverage or relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, investigate, and evaluate new loss notices and claim tenders.
• Coordinates defense strategy with insured, defense counsel and/or other participating insurance carriers.
• Expedites analysis and positions claims under applicable primary, umbrella and excess coverage.
• Coordinates and establishes defense strategy with insured, defense counsel and/or other participating carriers.
• Proactively manages the case resolution process, participates in mediations within authority.
• Works with reinsurance to provide notices and respond to inquiries.
• Documents claims per guidelines and maintains licenses as required.
• Travels as necessary.
