Job summary

Parkhill seeks a Civil/Environmental Professional Engineer to lead planning, permitting, design, construction support, and regulatory compliance for municipal solid waste facilities and related projects in Texas.

You will mentor EITs, manage budgets and client relationships, coordinate with agencies like TCEQ and EPA, and contribute to business development. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Fort Worth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental discipline or closely related field.
• Professional Engineer registration in TX, NM, or OK.
• 5+ years of progressive engineering experience; 7+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning and permitting through design, construction, and closeout.
• Manage municipal solid waste, environmental compliance, and related infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering reports, permit applications, plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies (TCEQ, NMED, ODEQ, EPA).
• Develop grading, drainage, stormwater, erosion control, and site development designs.
• Mentor EITs and junior engineers; support business development.
