Job summary

GHD is seeking an Environmental Chemistry Data Validator/Laboratory Coordinator to support projects across the United States. The role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week) and emphasizes data quality in environmental analytical chemistry.

You will verify data per USEPA guidance, prepare validation reports and QA plans, and help coordinate laboratory methods based on QA/QC parameters for diverse federal and private clients.

Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in chemistry (preferred) or related field.
• 5+ years environmental analytical chemistry experience (laboratory bench chemistry preferred).
• Experience validating high resolution GC/MS and PFAS analyses; familiarity with USEPA methodologies; QA/QC knowledge; QA Plan documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in environmental analytical chemistry for projects across diverse clients.
• Perform data verifications and validations using USEPA guidance; prepare data validation reports.
• Assist with laboratory coordination and selection of analytical methodologies based on QA/QC parameters.
• Monitor laboratory turnaround times and ensure data meet project data-quality objectives.
• Deliver and be accountable for technical assignments involving data quality assessments.
• Collaborate with internal project teams and outside consultants and laboratories.
