Science Technology Engineering And Mathematics in Tallahassee is seeking a Chemist II to analyze environmental samples for nutrients and inorganic anions, supporting water quality assessment and restoration projects. The incumbent will perform laboratory testing, maintain instrumentation, and keep rigorous data records in line with regulations.

Qualifications

At least five years of verifiable related experience in chemistry, environmental sciences, natural sciences, biological sciences, or physical sciences.
Knowledge of chemical research, analysis, and testing principles and techniques.
Skill in use of laboratory equipment and materials.
Ability to maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
Ability to perform calculations and report data in compliance with applicable rules.
Preferred: At least 2 years of experience performing Total Suspended Solids/Total Dissolved Solids (TSS/TDS) analysis.
