Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking an Environmental Branding Designer to lead interior design, exterior signage, and environmental branding across retail branches, private bank offices, corporate offices, and ATM networks. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, architects, and suppliers from pre-design through post-construction to ensure brand standards and a welcoming customer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in architecture, interior design, or retail industry with a focus on design.
• Portfolio of interior architecture or interior design accomplishments.
• Strong influencing, negotiating and presentation skills.
• Thought leadership and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with peers, internal partners, suppliers and leaders.
• Lead and manage multiple complex, overlapping design projects with tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient interpreting construction documents with an eye for design challenges.
• Experience presenting concepts and selling design strategy at all levels with drawings and renderings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evolve and maintain design standards for interior construction and branding.
• Design and execute exterior signage and trade dress concepts; manage vendors to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
• Develop décor, signage and environmental playbooks and guidelines based on budget and branch formats.
• Manage multiple projects daily; coordinate with project team and suppliers; handle schedules, contracts, invoicing, renderings.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal partners to approve design documents and resolve issues.
• Perform site visits and inspections; resolve punch list items.
