Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Biologist/Ecologist to join our Enviro Socio Permitting team in the Texas/Gulf Coast region. You will lead field wetland delineations, habitat assessments, and environmental surveys, coordinating with engineers and planners to support renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

You will prepare draft reports and assist with permit applications under Clean Water Act and related regulations. The role requires travel up to 50% and a flexible, hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or related field.
  • 4+ years of environmental planning and permitting experience.
  • Experience leading wetland delineation field teams.
  • Knowledge of Gulf Coast ecology and regulatory permitting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead wetland and stream delineations, floral/faunal inventories, and habitat assessments.
  • Prepare draft technical reports and environmental work plans.
  • Support agency coordination and permit compliance for projects.
  • Travel as needed to field sites across the Texas/Gulf Coast region.
